In-Office Territory Manager Demonstration
BioForm Medical prides itself on the quality of our Territory Manager group. These highly trained individuals not only serve as Radiesse® practice consultants, but also are knowledgeable in the best clinical practices for Radiesse use. As such, each BioForm Medical Territory Manager offers you the opportunity to have an in-office demonstration to impart the best clinical practices for Radiesse use. During the in-office demonstration, Radiesse will be provided at no charge. Clinical Education DVD
BioForm Medical has produced an exhaustive clinical education training DVD to serve physicians wishing to learn techniques associated with injecting Radiesse for its approved facial aesthetic indications. Also included is a discussion on the basic science behind Radiesse, its mechanism of action, and physician experience with the material. Peer-to-Peer Physician Workshops for HIV Care Physicians
BioForm Medical is committed to the value of peer-to-peer learning. To further physician education, workshops discussing and demonstrating Radiesse use are held throughout the United States. These events are designed for physicians to learn the science, history, and best clinical practices for Radiesse use from a physician colleague who has extensive Radiesse experience. Included in this evening course is a didactic presentation followed by a live injection demonstration of Radiesse use in facial aesthetics. In-Office Field Clinical Specialist Demonstration
BioForm Medical has employed Field Clinical Specialists (FCS) to actively train practitioners on the best clinical practices for Radiesse use. Each member of this group of individuals possesses an RN degree or higher and has extensive experience using injectable filler materials for facial aesthetics and facial lipoatrophy treatment. The Field Clinical Specialist provides basic and advanced training on the best clinical practices for Radiesse use in facial aesthetics. In addition to training, the FCS provides answers to specific detailed questions asked by physicians and also aids in training of the BioForm Medical Territory Managers.
Workshops at National and Regional Conferences
Similar to the Peer-to-Peer Physician Workshops, this format provides interested physicians with a didactic presentation followed by live injections demonstrating the approved uses of Radiesse at Specialty Regional or National Conferences held throughout the United States.
Medical Education Faculty Preceptorship Training
The Radiesse Medical Education Faculty (MEF) is composed of approximately 120 physicians from across the United States who are experts in the use of Radiesse. These physicians possess a wealth of experience and knowledge and have agreed to hold preceptorship trainings for colleagues who desire peer-to-peer learning and to be certified as Radiesse injectors.
Preceptorship sessions are typically held in the MEF's office or clinic where s/he will provide instruction on the best clinical practices for use of Radiesse in facial aesthetics. Typically, each training includes 2-5 physician attendees. Those physicians wishing to inject Radiesse during the training session are to provide their own patients.
BioForm Medical will provide Radiesse syringes for the training at no charge. However, in order to reserve your space for attendance, and for the Radiesse MEF to take time out of his/her practice, BioForm requests that physician trainees pre-purchase five 1.3 cc syringes of Radiesse at the reduced price of $1,175 (a $300 savings).
Following your completion of the MEF preceptorship, BioForm Medical will ship your pre-purchased Radiesse and provide you with a certificate that denotes completion of training.
